DESCRIPTION:Mondays through Thursdays\, June 17 through August 8 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.\nCome meet some new “friends” at the Zoology Zone Interactive Cart! The cart will be stationed in the Conservatory and will feature several small animals and arthropods\, along with deceased butterfly specimens\, that guests can touch and feel; staffed by Hershey Gardens Volunteens. \nIncluded in admission; free for members.

Join us for kids’ crafts and explore weekly themes about produce and farming\, birds\, indoor gardening\, trees and pollinators. Come back each week to discover new activities and greet special guests. \n\n\n\nIncluded in admission; free for members. \n\n\n\nSpecial Guests: \n\n\n\nJuly 8: Produce and Farming with special guests\, PA Farms to Families Immersion Lab and Katherine English from Rock Hill Heritage Farm\, MHS Project Market Pop Up Shop: Purchase produce grown by students and products made by students\, as well as soaps\, bouquets\, etc. \n\n\n\nJuly 15: Birds with special guest  ZooAmerica and Quittapahilla Audubon Society \n\n\n\nJuly 22: Indoor Gardening with special guest Harrisburg University Science & Technology as they educate guests on aquaponics\, including a take-home mini greenhouse activity to grow microgreens. Other activities will include a demonstration of our hydroponic tower\, a seed-saving station and a take-home water bottle greenhouse activity. \n\n\n\nJuly 29: Trees with special guest Master Watershed Steward Program\, Penn State Extension \n\n\n\nAugust 5: Pollinators with special guest Author and Illustrator Kevin McCloskey \n\n\n\nIncluded in admission; free for members.
