DESCRIPTION:Join us for Homeschool Day!\nFor students Kindergarten through Grade 6 \nDiscover how adaptations and behaviors of insects\, spiders and creatures of the night allow them to survive and thrive in their environments. Take a fascinating closer look at butterfly wings\, handle insects and herptiles on our Zoology Zone Cart\, learn about bees from the Planet Bee Foundation and make seed balls\, and learn about live bats from the Pennsylvania Bat Rescue. \nExperience the presentation\, “World of Nightshift Pollinators” by the Butterbee Foundation at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the Education Center Classroom. \nGuests are encouraged to arrive early to participate in all of the activities. \nGuests are encouraged to arrive early to participate in all of the activities.\n$9 per student\, $10 per adult; includes admission to Hershey Gardens and the Butterfly Atrium. \nRegistration is required here; it closes 48 hours prior to event.
