DESCRIPTION:The Annual Penn-Jersey District Rose Show: “Roses and Chocolate” \nSaturday\, September 17 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. and\nSunday\, September 18 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. \nSee dozens of gorgeous rose varieties grown by members of the Penn-Jersey District of the American Rose Society. The display and judging will take place in the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory. \nRosarians will be in the Historic Rose Garden to answer your questions about rose varieties and care. DESCRIPTION:Guests can enjoy live music by Segno\, a string duet consisting of Harpist Sylvia Sweigert\, and Hammered Dulcimer player LillieMae Sweigert. \nThe name is a musical term referring to the beginning and end of a repeat in an arrangement. They are enrolled in a fine arts and University Scholars program in West Chester\, PA. They are members of the Harrisburg Harp Orchestra\, playing in the greater Harrisburg and Philadelphia Area. \nThey play a wide range of music such as Broadway tunes\, popular songs\, Celtic favorites\, American folk\, classical pieces\, and familiar hymns. The duet often composes their own arrangements\, to suit the occasion. Sylvia plays a Lyon & Healy Prelude 38\, and LillieMae plays a custom James Jones 4/19/21/9 Hammered Dulcimer.
