Special group rate is available for schools, recreation programs, and not-for-profit groups.
This program will be offered Monday through Friday during the summer months.
Fee:
$6.00 per student (minimum of 15 students)
1 free adult for every 5 students (must maintain a 1:10 ratio)
$8.00 per additional adult
Summer youth programs provide a service beyond regular Garden admission. Therefore, no discounts, passes, or memberships are accepted for this program.
Reservations: Reservations are required and can be made by completing our Summer Youth Group Reservation Request Form, calling Hershey Gardens at 717-508-5968, or by emailing education@hersheygardens.org.
Wingin It - Brand New for 2011!
Children will participate in an interactive video presentation that will delight everyone as they marvel at the stunning photography and breathtaking video of the amazing butterfly. Program also includes a tour of The Butterfly House. Spend the rest of your day enjoying the beautiful Hershey Gardens.
Take your students on The Great Garden Adventure as you look for clues throughout The Children's Garden. Each child will receive a child sized garden tool to complete the adventure at home. Additional fee of $5.95 per student applies.
Picnic tables may be reserved at no additional charge.
Discovery Stations
The Children’s Garden at Hershey Gardens will once again offer young visitors a chance to explore and learn about the natural world around them through our Discovery Stations. These hands-on activities are designed to provide fun while encouraging an appreciation for nature. Examples of topics may include growing plants, butterflies, beneficial insects, chocolate, or herbs. Discovery Stations will be located in the Children’s Garden and offered select mornings during the summer months.
