A Day of Wines & Roses at Hershey Gardens has become so popular that the previous one-day event has been expanded to two days: Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8. Featuring 11 Pennsylvania wineries, both days will also include live music, art displays from the Hershey Art Association and a special keepsake wine glass.
Perhaps the most-loved part of the day is the traditional grape stomp contest featuring two local celebrities who compete to see who can produce the most grape juice in three minutes. Come root for your favorite stomper!
Of course, no glass of wine is complete without a delicious array of bread, cheese and fruits. Pre-packed picnic baskets will be available for $24 (for two to share) and $30 (for four to share). Baskets must be purchased prior to May 30.
